The large vitola highlights the subtle transitions into leather, spice, and a natural tobacco sweetness. The medium-to-full bodied smoke is exceptionally smooth and creamy, showcasing the blend’s premium construction. The finish is long and satisfying, characterized by a balanced interplay of wood and pepper with a touch of roasted nuts.

Construction

This Corona Doble, part of the Undercrown Maduro line, is a premium, meticulously crafted cigar. Its Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper, Connecticut Stalk-Cut Habano binder, and Brazilian/Nicaraguan fillers are expertly rolled. This construction ensures a flawless burn and consistent draw, essential for a cigar of this size, allowing the full-bodied, robust flavors to be enjoyed.

Pairing Suggestion

The original Undercrown Maduro blend is medium-to-full bodied with notes of cocoa, sweet spice, and coffee. This crowd-pleasing profile pairs excellently with a smooth Bourbon or a creamy milk stout beer to enhance the cocoa notes. A strong, sweet Cuban coffee is also a great non-alcoholic pairing.
