Herrera Esteli Robusto Extra

Summary

The Robusto Extra is a hearty, medium-bodied cigar from the original Herrera Esteli Habano line. Featuring an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and a blend of Nicaraguan fillers, it offers a smooth and aromatic smoke. Aficionados will find notes of cream, cedar, and light spices, with a slightly larger size that provides a longer, cooler smoking experience than a standard robusto. It is an excellent example of Willy Herrera's ability to create a "Cubanesque" profile that is both accessible and deeply complex.

Pairing Suggestion

To enhance the experience of the Drew Estate Herrera Esteli Robusto Extra, consider pairing it with a fine beverage. A rich, dark espresso or a smooth, aged rum complements the cigar's complex flavor profile beautifully. For those who prefer whiskey, a single malt Scotch or a well-aged bourbon will also pair exceptionally well. The key is to choose a drink that can stand up to the cigar's medium to full-bodied strength without overpowering its nuanced flavors.
