Flavor Profile

Rocky Patel Sun Grown Deluxe Toro Tubo provides a robust, medium-to-full bodied flavor packaged for freshness. Its Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper introduces bold bursts of red pepper, natural sweetness, and cedar right away. As it progresses, complex layers of earth, leather, and dark roast coffee weave together smoothly. Intensely aromatic, it concludes with a memorable, spicy, and long-lasting finish.

Construction

Encased in a metal tubo for freshness, this Toro features an oily Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper. Hand-rolled in Nicaragua, the cigar feels densely packed with a well-applied cap. The construction leads to a straight, self-maintaining burn, a consistent draw with pleasant resistance, and a firm white ash.

Pairing Suggestion

When it comes to pairing the Rocky Patel Sun Grown Deluxe Toro Tubo, consider spicy, vibrant beverages that highlight its Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper. A cask-strength bourbon or a spiced amber rum will complement the cigar's sharp red pepper, cedar, sweet earth, and spice notes. For a non-alcoholic option, a Mexican hot chocolate or a ginger beer can also enhance the cigar's zesty flavor profile. Additionally, this cigar pairs fantastically with spicy sausages or grilled steaks.
