Flavor Profile

The Padron Family Reserve 85 Maduro offers a complex and robust flavor profile that is sure to captivate seasoned cigar enthusiasts. The initial draw reveals a rich blend of dark chocolate, espresso, and earthy undertones. As the cigar progresses, notes of black pepper, cedar, and a hint of sweetness emerge, creating a well-balanced and satisfying smoking experience. The finish is long and smooth, leaving a pleasant aftertaste that lingers on the palate.

Construction

Expertly crafted by skilled artisans, the Padron Family Reserve 85 Maduro boasts flawless construction. The Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper is dark and oily, with a slight sheen that adds to its visual appeal. The cigar is firm to the touch, with no soft spots or imperfections. The draw is effortless, producing a generous amount of thick, creamy smoke. The burn is even and consistent, requiring minimal touch-ups, and the ash holds firm, showcasing the cigar's superior construction.

Pairing Suggestion

To enhance the rich and complex flavors of the Padron Family Reserve 85 Maduro, consider pairing it with a fine aged rum or a single malt Scotch whisky. The sweetness and depth of an aged rum complement the cigar's dark chocolate and espresso notes, while the smoky and peaty characteristics of a single malt Scotch enhance its earthy and peppery undertones. For a non-alcoholic option, a strong, freshly brewed espresso or a dark roast coffee will also pair beautifully with this exceptional cigar.

Excellent cigars, great prices, highly recommended!

I’ve been buying from COH Cigars for several times now. The quality is always consistent, prices are very competitive compared to local retailers, and shipping is fast. They have a wide selection of both Cuban and non-Cuban cigars, plus great deals on Seconds. Will definitely keep coming back!
