Flavor Profile

The Antaño Dark Corojo El Martillo is a highly-rated, full-bodied "muscle cigar." It is known for its intense strength and substantial flavor, with a ton of dark, thick smoke. The profile delivers core notes of black pepper, rich earth, and dark cocoa, all balanced by a surprising sweetness, making it robust yet unusually smooth and non-harsh.

Construction

The Antaño Dark Corojo line is a powerhouse, ultra-full-bodied Nicaraguan puro with a dark, oily Corojo wrapper and Nicaraguan long-fillers. Its construction is designed for performance, typically offering a very smooth draw and a slow, even burn, consistently producing a high volume of smoke with complex, aged tobacco flavors.

Pairing Suggestion

The Antaño Dark Corojo is a full-strength cigar with powerful, yet creamy, notes of liquorice, wheat, and nuts. Its intensity demands a bold pairing. Consider an ultra-rich, dark Imperial Stout beer, a high-proof Bourbon, or a pungent, smoky Scotch to stand up to its "dark" strength.
