Flavor Profile

The Antaño Dark Corojo is an extra full-bodied powerhouse, delivering a potent, complex blend. The dark, oily Corojo wrapper ensures intense flavors of moist earth, wheat, and pepper. These powerful notes mingle with strong hints of dark chocolate, smooth espresso, and a surprising, yet consistent, fruit or apricot sweetness.

Construction

The Antaño Dark Corojo line is a powerhouse, ultra-full-bodied Nicaraguan puro with a dark, oily Corojo wrapper and Nicaraguan long-fillers. Its construction is designed for performance, typically offering a very smooth draw and a slow, even burn, consistently producing a high volume of smoke with complex, aged tobacco flavors.

Pairing Suggestion

The Antaño Dark Corojo is a full-strength cigar with powerful, yet creamy, notes of liquorice, wheat, and nuts. Its intensity demands a bold pairing. Consider an ultra-rich, dark Imperial Stout beer, a high-proof Bourbon, or a pungent, smoky Scotch to stand up to its "dark" strength.
