Flavor Profile

The Antaño 1970 Big Bull is a gargantuan, full-bodied cigar where the large size tempers the blend's intensity. The flavor profile is dominated by central notes of earth, oak, and charred wood. A slight underlying nuttiness is often present, along with minerals. The smoke is robust, offering the strong Antaño core in a slower, longer format.

Construction

The Antaño 1970 line is meticulously hand-rolled entirely of Nicaraguan 'Puro' tobaccos, reflecting a robust, full-bodied heritage. The construction is noted for being perfect, ensuring a regular draw and a consistent, even burn. The cigars possess a firm feel, often with prominent veins on the dark wrapper, producing thick, rich smoke with complex aromas.

Pairing Suggestion

The Joya Antaño 1970 is a full-bodied, high-strength Nicaraguan puro with notes of earth, leather, and cedar. This large format is ideal for an extended, leisurely smoke. A bold Vintage Port or a complex, aged XO Cognac will match its size and the long, evolving intensity of the blend.
