The Drew Estate Liga Privada T52 Corona Doble is a premium cigar that exemplifies the artistry and craftsmanship of Drew Estate. Known for its rich, complex flavors and impeccable construction, this cigar is a favorite among aficionados who appreciate a full-bodied smoking experience. The Liga Privada T52 line is renowned for its unique blend of tobaccos, which are meticulously selected and aged to perfection, ensuring a consistently exceptional smoke.
The Liga Privada T52 Corona Doble offers a robust and complex flavor profile that is sure to captivate your senses. From the first draw, you'll experience a rich tapestry of earthy notes, complemented by hints of black pepper, leather, and espresso. As you progress through the cigar, subtle undertones of dark chocolate and sweet cedar emerge, adding depth and complexity to the smoking experience. The finish is long and satisfying, leaving a pleasant aftertaste that lingers on the palate.
Constructed with the utmost precision, the Liga Privada T52 Corona Doble boasts a flawless build that ensures an even burn and smooth draw from start to finish. The Connecticut River Valley Stalk Cut & Cured Sun Grown Habano wrapper is expertly applied, showcasing a beautiful, oily sheen that is both visually appealing and indicative of the cigar's quality. The Brazilian Mata Fina binder and the carefully selected Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers are perfectly balanced, resulting in a cigar that delivers a consistently excellent smoking experience.
To fully appreciate the rich and complex flavors of the Liga Privada T52 Corona Doble, consider pairing it with a fine single malt Scotch or a robust red wine. The smoky, peaty notes of a well-aged Scotch will complement the cigar's earthy and peppery profile, while a full-bodied red wine, such as a Cabernet Sauvignon or Malbec, will enhance the cigar's dark chocolate and espresso undertones. For a non-alcoholic option, a strong, freshly brewed coffee or espresso will also pair beautifully with this exceptional cigar.

Romeo Y Julieta Cigar | Romeo No.3 A/T | Box 15
Beautiful wrapper, smooth but slightly toothy wrapper, seems strong and thick. Slightly oily texture too.
Earthy, manure, especially on the retro. Perhaps damp hay. Smooth on the retro.
Mild to medium body.
Great burn, razor sharp.
A large vitola that requires a double puff.
Into the first third, very slight pepper on the tongue, some nuttiness, and earthy and damp hay. Now there's also some mushroom.
Still mild to medium body.
Long asj hold, nearly two inches, stacking coins. Great burn. Beautiful construction.
Into the second third, and there's some spice on the tongue.
Medium body now.
Still earthy, mushroom, but now with a little heat.
Loads of smoke production now, still a smooth retro but with a slight edge, a hint of spice.
Into the final third, still medium body but now vegetal with some spice. Also some woody notes too. High strength, make sure to have some sugar or chocolate to counter the high strength next time.
Final smoke time is 1 hour 30 minutes.
A great stick, superfluous construction. Although not my favourite flavours. Definitely a great stick though if you like these flavours.
No.9 Natural 1926 | Box 10 | Padron cigar
Promising Davidoff quality control. Medium strength, intense flavours, plenty of smoke. Perfect for a 20 minutes coffee break.
I am so happy I finally decided to purchase one of these boxes. I’ve only smoked one so far and it was amazing. One of my favorites. Not only was the cigar amazing but the box is beautiful too. Only problem was the taxes on them made them pretty costly. But there is not much we can do about that and honestly they were worth every penny.
