Flavor Profile

Crafted by Don Pepin and his son Jamie, the Series JJ offers a medium-to-full bodied profile with a Corojo-Rosado wrapper. It features a harmonious blend of earth, ginger, and leather. Initial draws provide a peppery kick, which transitions into layers of toasted cedar and spice. The construction is impeccable, offering a smooth, creamy smoke with a refined and balanced finish.

Construction

Handcrafted in the My Father Cigars factory in Nicaragua, the Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Salomones is a testament to superior construction and attention to detail. The cigar features a flawless Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper that is smooth and oily to the touch. The Salomones shape, with its tapered head and foot, requires exceptional skill to roll, and the artisans at My Father Cigars have mastered this art. The result is a cigar with an even burn, excellent draw, and a firm ash that holds well throughout the smoking experience.

Pairing Suggestion

To enhance the enjoyment of the Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Salomones, consider pairing it with a fine beverage that complements its rich flavors. A full-bodied red wine, such as a Cabernet Sauvignon or a Malbec, will bring out the earthy and spicy notes of the cigar. For those who prefer spirits, a well-aged single malt Scotch or a dark rum with caramel and vanilla undertones will provide a delightful contrast to the cigar's complex profile. Coffee enthusiasts will also find that a strong espresso or a rich, dark roast coffee pairs beautifully with the Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Salomones, enhancing its cocoa and coffee notes.
