Flavor Profile

The Illusione Cigares Prive Toro delivers a sturdy, full-bodied performance that beautifully represents premium Nicaraguan tobacco. The profile is characterized by an initial wave of rich dark chocolate, heavily complemented by warm baking spices and a robust espresso note. Throughout the smoke, an underlying sweet molasses finish provides an excellent balance to the deeper, earthy elements, while hints of cedar and leather keep the blend highly sophisticated from light to nub.

Construction

Built under the rigorous standards of Dion Giolito, this Toro showcases masterful construction from the renowned TABSA factory. Wrapped in a premium, pristine leaf with a fine oily texture, the cigar is packed uniformly without any soft spots. It features a beautifully applied cap and neat seams. The draw is perfectly calibrated to provide ample smoke production, while the burn remains exceptionally sharp and consistent, yielding a strong, resilient white ash throughout the smoke.

Pairing Suggestion

The Illusione Cigares Prive Toro delivers a refined medium-bodied profile with creamy earth, cedar, and subtle spice notes. It pairs wonderfully with a balanced, sweet bourbon or a Speyside single malt whisky that complements its smooth finish. For a non-alcoholic pairing, a café au lait or a smooth medium-roast coffee brings out its underlying creaminess. This versatile cigar also pairs nicely with mild cheeses, toasted nuts, or a light charcuterie board during an afternoon smoke.
